Job Summary
Write, edit, and optimize blog posts, articles, and web copy for multiple clients while applying SEO best practices including keyword usage, on-page optimization, and internal linking. Research topics thoroughly to ensure accuracy and relevance, then adapt tone and voice to match diverse client brands and industries. Collaborate with internal strategists, project managers, and clients to align content with business goals, incorporate editorial feedback efficiently, and manage multiple projects and priorities consistently. Use AI tools to support the creation process while maintaining quality and originality. Report on account health, content performance, and team development needs to the managing editor. This full-time, fully remote role focuses on driving organic visibility through strategic content creation.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional content writing experience
- Demonstrated experience writing for multiple clients or stakeholders at the same time
- Solid understanding of SEO principles (keyword research, on-page optimization, content structure for search)
- Proven ability to research and write about a variety of topics/industries
- Experience incorporating editorial feedback and revising content based on client or team input
- Strong writing fundamentals: grammar, clarity, structure, and storytelling
- Detail-oriented, with strong time-management and organizational skills
- Clear, professional communication style, especially when handling client-facing correspondence
- Ability to take initiative and work independently on assigned projects
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with content marketing or agency environments
- Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console)
- Background writing across multiple industries or verticals
- Asana experience preferred
