Job Summary
Senior Security Project Manager leads moderately complex security projects with medium to high corporate priority, managing schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer expectations. Provides subject matter expertise in project management, security system setup, project scope definition, risk identification, and security project methodology; facilitates prioritization and coordination. Maintains control of schedule and expenditures, manages vendor relationships, ensures on-time project closure within scope, and presents updates to management and customers. Applies PMI methodology (PMI knowledge areas) to security projects, oversees communications to project staff, customers, and management, leads resources, and assures quality and adherence to internal standards. Travel is required for deployment periods; position resides in Aberdeen, TX or Lubbock, TX with onsite responsibilities and potential long-duration deployments (6 to 18 months).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5 years Project Management - security industry (preferred) or new construction experience
- Willing to be on deployment for 6 to 18 months
- CSPM (Certified Security Project Manager)
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
