Senior Security & Fraud Specialist

Job Summary
Review daily FRAML alerts to detect, prevent, and mitigate financial crimes, creating cases and documenting findings for SAR recommendations. Lead investigations into theft, robbery, and workplace violence while coordinating with law enforcement and branch staff. Support physical security programs by assessing alarm systems, access controls, and surveillance, and administer video recording and incident response activities. Develop and maintain fraud prevention policies, security manuals, and loss prevention strategies to mitigate emerging risks. Liaise with industry groups to share best practices and coordinate annual security training for the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent in experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Security, BSA Compliance, Fraud Investigations or Fraud Prevention/Mitigation within a financial institution
- Working knowledge of Verafin
- Use of Outlook email and calendaring
- Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and/or other web-based applications
- Use of online teleconferencing software (e.g., Zoom or Teams)
- Ability to use hands, handle and feel objects, tools or controls
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to talk and hear
- Ability to stand, walk and sit
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or lift up to fifteen pounds
