Job Summary
Senior Security Engineer to lead development, optimization and integration of network security policies across platforms including SSE, NDR, SD-WAN and proxy solutions; design and improve security across branches, data centers and cloud; conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments and threat modelling; drive modernization from legacy systems to SSE and ZTNA with roadmaps and governance; monitor and enhance performance, availability and compliance with ISO, NIST, GDPR, PCI-DSS; provide advanced Level-3 support for on-prem and cloud devices; collaborate with cross-functional teams across global stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering
- Strong knowledge of network security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SWG, SASE, VPN, CASB, ZTNA)
- Cloud platforms (Azure, GCP)
- Security architecture methodologies and governance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST)
- Experience with network security solutions from Cisco, HP Aruba, Zscaler, Citrix NetScaler
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment and security control frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST)
- Familiarity with security maturity models (C2M2)
- Independent problem-solving skills
- Excellent understanding of IP networking and protocols (IPsec, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
- Understanding regulatory/compliance requirements (GDPR, PCI-DSS)
- Clear ability to translate security requirements into implementable engineering solutions
- Azure/GCP security certifications preferred (Azure Security Engineer, CCNP Security, CISSP, OSCP)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira/Confluence)
