Job Summary
Lead complex security projects from initial planning through closeout, guiding multidisciplinary teams on integrated systems including video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection. Conduct physical security audits, assessments, and evaluations to identify risks, while developing technical reports, specifications, and proposals that support successful project outcomes. Build trusted client relationships by facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagements, and contribute to business growth by identifying opportunities and preparing winning bids. Manage large-scale consulting projects with a focus on design delivery, tender support, and construction administration. Maintain a culture of health and safety in accordance with WSP policies. Requires a current BC Security Consultant Licence, 7+ years of experience, and a Level 2 Security Clearance. Salary ranges from $94,100 to $138,000 depending on location.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in security consulting or a related field with transferable expertise
- Current BC Security Consultant Licence
- Demonstrated success managing large and complex security consulting projects
- Proven experience supporting business development initiatives, including proposal and bid preparation
- Strong understanding of project financial management, contracts, commercial requirements, and project delivery practices
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Works and Government Services Canada Level 2 Security Clearance and work within secure environments
- Willingness to travel as required for project assignments
- Possession of a valid driver's licence
Desired Qualifications
- Experience conducting Threat Risk Assessments (TRAs), physical security assessments, or security risk evaluations
- Professional credentials such as ASIS CPP or PSP
- Familiarity with alternative delivery models (Alliance, DBFM, Design-Build, etc.)
