Job Summary
Senior Security Architect at Everpure leading security-by-design across multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) with threat modeling, risk advisory, and scalable telemetry/detection. Drive secure design patterns, integrate security into development workflows, and scale protection through automation (Python) and system hardening (Linux), IAM, and network segmentation. Collaborate with product, platform, and engineering teams to balance protection with velocity, delivering visibility via SIEM/logging (Splunk/ELK) and AI-assisted analytics. Role is primarily in-office at Santa Clara, CA with additional Lehi, UT presence; strong emphasis on leadership, pragmatic security judgment, and alignment with zero-trust principles.
Required Qualifications
- Strong foundation in security engineering
- Cloud Security Architecture Expertise: design and execute security architectures for public and hybrid cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Deep fluency in network segmentation, IAM, and zero-trust principles
- Hands-on experience with Linux system hardening
- Production-grade automation using Python (or equivalent)
- Experience with SIEM/logging platforms like Splunk or ELK
- Ability to evaluate complex system architectures and negotiate risk trade-offs with engineering partners
- Ability to articulate technical recommendations to engineers and leadership
