Job Summary
Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud, on-premises, and containerized environments while managing priorities independently. Support log ingestion, normalization, filtering, troubleshooting, and platform maintenance using Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, and Elastic. Monitor, validate, and investigate alerts to develop, tune detection rules, and reduce false positives. Administer core security tools and collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to identify new detection and response opportunities. Requires 4–6 years of cybersecurity experience, proficiency in Python, Terraform, and Kubernetes, and fluency in French and English. Hybrid schedule with salary range of $101,800–$124,400.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or any combination of equivalent education and experience
- 4–6 years of experience in cybersecurity, DevOps, or infrastructure
- Experience in security monitoring, including SIEM, SOAR, XDR, TIP, or UEBA platforms
- Knowledge of detection engineering, rule writing, MITRE ATT&CK, and the Cyber Kill Chain
- Understanding of threat actors, attack techniques, phishing, privilege escalation, lateral movement, and data exfiltration
- Experience with cloud security across AWS, Azure, or GCP, including identity, logging, and network controls
- Experience with Azure VMs, Load Balancer, Terraform, Kubernetes, Linux, Python, Ansible, Syslog, Logstash, CrowdStrike, and Elastic
- Strong communication, collaboration, prioritization, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English
- Security-related certification (CEH, GCIH, GCTI, GCFE or the equivalent)
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada
