Job Summary
Senior Securities Reconciliation Officer to lead the detailed analysis, comparison, and verification of securities and trades between internal and external positions; identify and assign cash breaks; oversee invoices related to custody of debt and equity securities; maintain a database of transactions; analyze regulatory trends affecting reconciliation; mentor less experienced staff; support team leadership and act as backup on project follow-ups and performance reviews. Requires 5+ years in finance with deep knowledge of securities/cash reconciliation, proficiency with MS Office, and strong English communication. Hybrid work arrangement based in Porto, Portugal.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Master's degree in Finance
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- In-depth knowledge of securities products and securities/cash reconciliation
- Mastery of digital tools (e.g., MS Office package)
- Good English skills, both written and verbal (mandatory)
- Strong analytical skills
