Job Summary
Lead the architectural design of highly secure, mission-critical facilities (SCIFs, SAPFs, and classified environments) for Federal and Intelligence Community clients, translating mission needs into compliant, functional layouts while balancing stringent security requirements with high-performance design. Provide technical leadership, accreditation support, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams; mentor junior staff; contribute to business development and the expansion of AECOM’s secure facilities portfolio. Expected to engage with ICD-705, UFC 4-010-05, DoD and agency-specific standards, interface with Accrediting Officials, and leverage tools such as Revit and AutoCAD to deliver secure, sustainable designs for federal projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
- 8+ years of professional architectural experience or demonstrated equivalency
- Active Registered Architect (RA) license
- U.S. citizenship required
