Job Summary
Senior Secure Spaces Architect to lead the planning and design of highly secure, mission-critical facilities for Federal and Intelligence Community clients. Lead architectural design of secure facilities including SCIFs, SAPFs, and classified environments in compliance with ICD-705, UFCs, DoD, and agency standards. Translate mission needs into compliant building layouts, balance stringent security requirements with high-performance design, and provide technical leadership and accreditation support. Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams, lead client meetings and design workshops, mentor junior staff, and contribute to secure design standards and business development. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Architecture, active RA license, U.S. citizenship, and 8+ years of experience; preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, TS/SCI clearance, and DoD/IC client experience. Sponsorship is not available; U.S. citizenship is mandatory for Federal contract work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
- Active Registered Architect (RA) license
- U.S. citizenship required
- 8+ years of professional architectural experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Experience designing secure Federal facilities
- Proficiency with ICD-705 and related accreditation processes (e.g., UFC 4‐010‐05)
- Experience leading complex architectural efforts with Federal stakeholders
- Active or recent Secret, TS, or TS/SCI clearance (preferred)
- Master’s degree in Architecture (preferred)
- Certifications such as Certified SCIF Designer or PSP (preferred)
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM tools (preferred)
