Job Summary
Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of FCC's second language program by delivering French and English instruction to employees through individual or group sessions. Conduct needs analyses to develop curriculum, lesson plans, assessments, and program evaluations while monitoring learner progress and recommending innovative learning solutions. Coach leaders, managers, and other teachers to support successful second language acquisition and ensure consistent program delivery. This role requires a bachelor's degree in education, six years of teaching experience, and advanced bilingual proficiency in English and French. Hybrid work options are available.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in education
- At least six years of teaching experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Strong knowledge of second language acquisition, adult learning, instructional design and language training best practices
- Experience developing curriculum, learning objectives, assessments or program evaluations
- Excellent consulting, influencing and collaboration skills
- Advanced proficiency in both official languages (English and French)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience delivering virtual language learning
- Specialized training in second language instruction
- Coaching certification or formal coaching training
- Experience in education administration, program management or curriculum development
