Job Summary
Create regulatory-compliant stable cell lines using state-of-the-art mammalian expression technologies and develop new technologies to advance the expression platform. Perform aseptic cell culture, handling, and transfection, while conducting flow cytometry assays and operating liquid handler platforms to analyze stable cell lines. Execute molecular biology and protein biochemistry techniques, including PCR, RT-PCR, plasmid sub-cloning, and western blotting, and independently design multicolor flow cytometry experiments. Analyze and present data at department meetings while maintaining complete, accurate, and timely records. This role requires a PhD or BS/MS with relevant postdoctoral experience in Immunology, Cell Biology, or Molecular Biology, with hands-on technical expertise in cell culture and antibody staining. Located in Tarrytown, NY, this on-site position offers a competitive salary range of $109,900.00 - $179,300.00 for a Senior Scientist at Regeneron.
Required Qualifications
- PhD with 0-3 years of postdoctoral experience, or BS/MS with 4-8 years of experience, in Immunology, Cell Biology, or Molecular Biology
- Hands-on technical experience in cell culture, flow cytometry, and antibody staining
- Experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR and cloning
- Working independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently without direct supervision
- Strong desire to develop your skills and work with a cross-functional team and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Passion for innovation and a desire to lead new scientific directions
- Experience with gene editing, lentivirus infections, CRISPR library workflows, and NGS
