Job Summary
Senior Scientist - LCMS Bioanalysis role at Amgen. Develop, optimize, and perform quantitative LC-MS–based bioanalytical assays to measure therapeutics, biomarkers, and target dynamics across discovery and development programs. Design bioanalytical strategies to understand drug-target interactions and pharmacodynamic responses; apply workflows to complex matrices (plasma, tissue, in vitro systems); troubleshoot assay development and LC-MS instrument performance; collaborate with cross-functional project teams to interpret data in PK/PD context and contribute to IND/NDA submissions.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Biology, Proteomics, or a related discipline with strong LC-MS training OR Master’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience
