Job Summary
Senior Scientist in Self Care R&D responsible for the design, development and execution of global or regional projects aligned with brand strategy; provides technical expertise and leadership in product design/formulation and process development/scale-up, supports pipeline activities, delivers cross-functional collaboration, drafts peer-reviewed manuscripts and tech reports, ensures compliance with quality, medical, and regulatory requirements, and coordinates with external partners while managing budgets. Requires strong formulation chemistry skills (emulsions, surfactants, suspensions, structured liquids) and experience with cosmetics/pharmaceutical products; English proficiency; hybrid work arrangement in Helsingborg, Sweden.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with at least 2-3 years or Master’s/PhD degree with 1-2 years of professional R&D experience
- Experience with formulated products is required
- Cosmetics, OTC, or pharmaceutical experience is required
- Strong scientific mindset with experience of formulated and engineered products
- Solid understanding of material chemistry and process equipment
- Process development/process scale-up experience is preferred
- Experience working with manufacturing and technical project management is required
- Fluent written and oral English communication skills are required
