Job Summary
Senior-level product development role leading cross-functional R&D activities from bench to commercialization in a large snack-food environment. Responsible for planning, leading, and coordinating technical projects, pilot plant and factory trials, and developing consumer-led specifications. Applies digital simulation to interpret consumer insights and supports stakeholder decisions through data analysis, risk assessment, and contingency planning. Requires strong project management, cross-functional collaboration, experience with GMP/HACCP, and the ability to manage multiple projects and plant trials while traveling ~30% to locations in Canada, US and Mexico. Hybrid work model based in East Hanover and Whippany, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the food industry
- Strong technical foundation and technical curiosity
- Ability to develop, plan for, and carry out plant trials
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and manage complexity
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to effectively communicate to all levels within the organization
