Job Summary
Senior Scientist Biologics Development with responsibility for de novo method development and characterization based on protein structure and biochemistry; provide strategic and scientific direction for phase-appropriate, biologics-specific assays; oversee microbiological testing strategy (endotoxin, bioburden, sterility) and verify methods for product use; review and approve bioassay protocols; provide scientific review of protocols and reports; author facility core dossier sections; act as SME in regulatory interactions (FDA meetings/inspections); lead and conduct projects; remote-friendly role with travel to Civica’s Petersburg, VA facility and Lehi, UT office as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in biochemistry
- 5+ years of directly relevant professional experience in protein structure and functional assays
- Ability to travel in the U.S. and internationally (up to 10%)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
