Senior Scientist, Bioanalytics

Job Summary
Lead and advance the Global Bioanalytical Quality Technical function by applying advanced bioanalytical expertise, overseeing development/validation/transfer and lifecycle management of analytical methods (e.g., enzymology, HPLC, spectroscopy, electrophoresis), and driving statistical quality control through control charts and alert/action limits. Interpret complex datasets from laboratory results and manufacturing to identify trends and risks, mentor colleagues, and collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen data integrity and product quality. Champion digital tools and data visualization, contribute to global product stewardship, and support knowledge transfer across sites, with an on-site role based in Wilmington, Delaware.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 10+ years, or Ph.D. with 5–8 years
- Strong technical foundation in analytical methods such as enzymology, HPLC, spectroscopy, and electrophoresis
- Experience with analytical method development, validation, and lifecycle management
- Ability to interpret complex data and recommend scientifically sound actions
- Experience supporting standards and control programs
- Strong collaboration skills across R&D, QA/QC, Manufacturing, and Regulatory
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Proficiency with LIMS, SAP, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office tools
