Job Summary
Senior Scientist Advance Clean and Etch based in Hillsboro, OR, onsite. Drive innovation to develop chemical formulations for precise cleaning and etching to fulfill customer requirements; design and execute experiments to evaluate performance of BASF samples; participate in customer projects and meetings as part of the global product development team; communicate experimental results and trends with customers and internal partners; collaborate with technical marketing and cross-functional teams to turn ideas into new product development projects; support Hillsboro site operations with EH&S compliance and detailed documentation of product development and analytical activities; role emphasizes leadership and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams and adherence to SOPs in the wet cleans domain. Required Qualifications
- PhD degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science and Engineering
- 3+ year research/product development experience in chemistry, chemical engineering or semiconductor manufacturing related field.
- 2+ years of research experience in colloidal chemistry and dispersions and/or surface chemistry
- Effective communication skills to facilitate discussions with internal personnel and customers.
- Management experience in directing, coordinating, and managing team activities to accomplish highly technical tasks.
- Experienced in lab operations.
- Able to operate in environment of frequently changing priorities.
