Job Summary

Develop programmatic goals and deliverables for AACR member professional development initiatives while managing multiple deadlines across proposals, reviews, and reports. Maintain sustained interaction with external scientific leaders and internal teams to oversee seamless execution of career advancement resources. Prepare records, reports, webpages, and meeting minutes, and support projects including grants development, data standards, and scientific publications. Draft presentations and correspondence on behalf of leadership, serving as a liaison for stakeholders while managing websites, databases, and social media platforms.

Required Qualifications

  • PhD in cancer, bioscience, or a related field, or equivalent advanced scientific training and professional experience
  • 3-5 years of postdoctoral training or equivalent professional experience in a relevant area

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with multi-stakeholder collaborations, committee coordination, or large-scale cancer science initiatives
  • Familiarity with Word Press, Open Water, Salesforce platforms
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and virtual, on-demand training and in-person and virtual scientific meeting planning and management
  • Command of a second language
