Job Summary
Senior Scientific Director for Medical Communications (Oncology) responsible for planning, development, and oversight of scientific content for assigned accounts across therapeutic areas and managing most aspects of scientific contributions across large/multiple accounts. Lead assigned accounts, client interactions, brand strategy, scientific portions of brand planning and business development, manage resource allocation, and collaborate with client services to develop SOWs and timelines while identifying areas for new and organic growth. The role requires an advanced science degree and substantial experience in promotional medical education content with oncology expertise.
Required Qualifications
- An advanced degree in science is required.
- 8 or more years of relevant job experience with promotional medical education content is required.
- Experience with established professional medical editorial processes (eg, AMA style) and ethical guidelines is required.
- Experience with Oncology is required.
