Job Summary
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring accurate planning and integration across all work phases. Collaborate with project teams to align schedules with construction plans, milestones, and objectives while monitoring progress and analyzing performance to identify potential delays. Work with leadership to develop recovery plans, prepare update reports and dashboards, and support resource planning through labor, equipment, and material analysis. Conduct schedule risk assessments to create mitigation strategies and track changes to ensure effective communication of updates. Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment to keep major infrastructure projects on track.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of scheduling experience within a general contracting or construction environment
- Experience supporting heavy civil infrastructure projects, including transportation, transit, rail, or other complex construction projects
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling software
- Experience with project forecasting, budgeting, resource planning, and schedule analysis
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, project delivery processes, and field operations
- Ability to analyze complex information, identify risks, and communicate solutions effectively
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment
