Job Summary
The Senior SCADA Engineer is responsible for designing, programming, installing, and testing utility substation systems, mentoring less experienced staff and overseeing project completion within allotted time. Key responsibilities include programming and troubleshooting RTUs and HMIs for renewable and power utility clients, developing site network design packages to meet client and regulatory standards, and providing technical guidance. Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a PE license, and at least 10 years of relevant experience, along with strong knowledge of communication protocols and network design.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineering (PE) license
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in engineering techniques and standards
Desired Qualifications
- Networking/IT certifications like Cisco Certified Network Associate
- Proficiency in communication protocols (DNP3, SEL, Modbus, etc.) and internet network architectures
- Experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

- Must have a valid driver’s license or ability to obtain prior to starting date
