Job Summary
Analyze existing planning processes and system functionalities, then evaluate requirements to provide solution recommendations for replacing SAP APO with SAP IBP and ePPDS. Design target planning processes, configure master data and planning-relevant objects, and implement system enhancements across SAP ECC/R3, S/4HANA, IBP, and ePPDS Sidecar. Support integrations, perform functional and integration testing, validate scenarios, and document defects. Identify process improvements and inconsistencies while maintaining configurations throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare technical and functional documentation, conduct workshops, and collaborate with global stakeholders within Agile cycles to support implementation and go-live. This freelance role supports a two-year global rollout for a client in the consumer goods sector, requiring 30–40 hours per week with remote work and occasional travel for key workshops and cutover phases.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of SAP Supply Chain Planning experience
- Senior SAP IBP/ePPDS consulting experience
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP IBP (Supply & Response)
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP ePPDS
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECC
- Strong hands-on experience with CIF Integration
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Fiori
- Strong knowledge of Supply Planning
- Strong knowledge of Production Planning
- Strong knowledge of Capacity Planning
- Strong knowledge of Detailed Scheduling
- Strong knowledge of Inventory Planning
- Strong knowledge of Integration Architecture
- Strong integration knowledge between ERP and planning systems
- Solid understanding of Agile project delivery, functional specifications, and testing best practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with global business and IT stakeholders and work across international teams and cultures
- Business fluent English
- Travel for key design workshops, testing, cutover phases, and occasional onsite weeks

- Experience with complex production networks, co-/by-products, inventory optimization, and deployment processes
