Job Summary
Lead production planning and scheduling activities within SAP ERP to support manufacturing and repair operations and customer delivery requirements. Manage and maintain MRP parameters, planning data, and production order execution while coordinating schedules based on capacity, labor availability, and material constraints. Analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production performance to optimize planning effectiveness, collaborate with procurement teams to ensure material availability, and drive continuous improvement initiatives related to SAP workflows and operational performance. Monitor KPIs for delivery performance and schedule adherence, participate in ERP system enhancements, and support Sales & Operations Planning activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field
- Must complete EHS assigned regulatory training for work area as described by PSM's EHS Training Matrix
- 5–10+ years of experience in manufacturing planning, production scheduling, or supply chain operations
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems, including SAP PP and SAP MM modules
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes
- Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP reporting tools
- Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills
- Experience supporting complex assemblies and regulated manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of capacity planning, forecasting, and demand management processes
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace, defence, precision manufacturing, or industrial gas turbine industries strongly preferred
- APICS/CPIM certification preferred
