Job Summary
Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with AI: Analyse business processes and translate requirements into SAP ABAP designs; design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP solutions including RICEFW in SAP ECC; produce technical documentation; perform debugging and performance optimization; support SAP integrations via interfaces, SAP Gateway OData, and Web Services; ensure change governance; provide guidance to functional teams; estimate effort and contribute to project planning; lead small technical initiatives and mentor junior analysts; facilitate workshops to gather and refine requirements; collaborate with internal/external teams to maintain standards and ensure delivery quality; support testing activities (unit, smoke, UAT); contribute to continuous improvement and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience
- Experience delivering end-to-end SAP developments across multiple project lifecycles
- Proven expertise in SAP ABAP development, debugging, and performance tuning
- Experience delivering RICEFW developments
- Hands-on experience with SAP technical components including Function Modules, Data Dictionary Objects, BADIs and BAPIs, User Exits, CDS Views, Smart Forms, SAP Gateway OData Services, Web Services
- Experience integrating SAP with third-party platforms and enterprise applications
- Strong understanding of secure ABAP coding standards and SAP development best practices
- Ability to analyze existing AS-IS solutions and perform TO-BE designs
- Experience creating technical documentation, test cases, and user support materials
- Knowledge of SDLC, change management, and release processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or in a team
