Job Summary
Senior Sanitation Manager oversees daily sanitation operations, develops and enforces GMP/USDA/FDA-compliant sanitation procedures, conducts housekeeping audits, trains sanitation staff, maintains records, and collaborates with production and maintenance to meet plant objectives. Responsibilities include safety training per OSHA, ensuring cleanliness and pest control, and implementing new methods to improve sanitation performance.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years Sanitation experience in a related field
- 5 years supervisory or managerial experience preferred
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- SAP experience preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external partners
- Ability to work other days/hours as needed
- Education: High School Diploma/GED; typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
