Job Summary
Senior Sanitation Manager responsible for overseeing the sanitation department in the plant to maintain USDA standards and GMP-compliant sanitation procedures. Oversees daily sanitation operations, enforces company policies, trains and develops sanitation staff, conducts housekeeping audits, develops sanitation procedures per GMP-USDA-FDA, maintains GMP compliance, conducts OSHA-related safety trainings, implements improvements to sanitation performance, maintains records and reports, and partners with production and maintenance to meet plant objectives. Requires 5 years of sanitation experience with supervisory/managerial experience, HS Diploma/GED (Bachelor’s degree typically required), and proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years Sanitation experience
- 5 years supervisory or managerial experience preferred
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field typically required
- Ability to work other days/hours as needed
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- SAP experience preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners
