Job Summary

Lead and coordinate all QA activities for a Salesforce pod supporting Sales, Service, and Configuration workstreams, organizing testing work within agile/scrum delivery cycles. Define and maintain the QA strategy, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing, while partnering with developers and product owners to refine user stories and acceptance criteria. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, manage defect triage and root cause analysis, and establish regression practices to ensure release readiness and production stability. Direct end-to-end testing across Salesforce platforms and connected enterprise systems, validate configuration and custom development, and coach the team on quality practices and automation opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five to seven years of quality assurance, quality engineering, or software testing experience
  • Significant experience testing Salesforce platform solutions in enterprise environments
  • Demonstrated experience leading QA execution for agile/scrum teams or pods
  • Experience testing Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform testing practices
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration and administration concepts
  • Familiarity with Salesforce development and technical capabilities, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Salesforce Flow, APIs, platform events, and integration patterns
  • Ability to direct QA work across QA analysts, developers, analysts, and configuration admins
  • Strong understanding of agile/scrum delivery practices
  • Ability to interpret business requirements, technical designs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mappings, and integration specifications
  • Experience with test management, defect management, traceability, test evidence, test reporting, QA metrics, and quality risk communication
  • Strong understanding of risk-based testing
  • Experience validating Salesforce security and access models
  • Experience testing integrations between Salesforce and internal or external systems
  • Experience with test automation concepts
  • Experience supporting CI/CD and release management practices
  • Knowledge of Salesforce data concepts
  • Experience troubleshooting Salesforce defects and quality issues
  • Ability to develop and maintain QA documentation
  • Ability to mentor and coach QA team members and cross-functional delivery team members
  • Ability to partner effectively with product owners, business stakeholders, scrum masters, analysts, architects, technical leads, developers, configuration admins, security, integration, data, release management, and operations teams
  • Knowledge of regulated environment expectations
