Job Summary
Join STX as a Senior Sales Trader focused on the LATAM market for Renewable Energy Certificates. This role involves developing and managing long-term client relationships, executing structured transactions, and driving commercial growth in renewable energy markets. Key requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, over 5 years of experience in trading similar commodities, a solid understanding of market dynamics, and fluency in English and Spanish. Ideal candidates are self-driven with strong analytical skills and a proven network in the LATAM region.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or sector related fields
- 5+ years of experience in trading or sales trading of Renewable Energy Certificates, EACs, or related environmental commodities
- Deep understanding of renewable energy markets, regulatory drivers, and commercial deal structures
Desired Qualifications
- Strong existing network and client relationships within LATAM and/or international REC/EAC markets
- Proven commercial acumen with an entrepreneurial, self-driven mindset
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and price signals
- Excellent English proficiency; Spanish required (Portuguese a plus)
