Job Summary
Generate net new assets from institutional and intermediary clients across Asia by building long-term relationships with asset managers, private banks, wealth managers, family offices, and distributors. Deliver annual sales, activity, and asset growth targets while covering priority markets including Singapore, Hong Kong, and Thailand. Develop and execute a comprehensive Asia distribution plan through direct channels and strategic partnerships, leveraging existing European client relationships to expand regional business opportunities. Represent WisdomTree at conferences and industry forums throughout Asia, providing regular market intelligence to senior management on client trends and competitor activity. Maintain accurate CRM records and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to deliver coordinated sales initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5–7 years' experience in institutional or intermediary ETF/asset management sales
- Proven experience covering Asian institutional or wholesale markets
- Strong understanding of Asian distribution models and investor landscape
- Existing network across institutional investors, private banks, wealth managers, distributors and asset managers within Asia
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in one or more local Asian languages is a must
- Previous ETF/ETP experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of UCITS ETFs and cross-border distribution
- Demonstrated ability to build new markets and develop business from an entrepreneurial platform
- Excellent commercial judgement with strong relationship management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across global teams
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Travel regularly throughout Asia to develop client relationships and support business growth
