Job Summary
Senior Sales Representative responsible for generating and developing new and existing business within a specified region. Key duties include achieving KPI and revenue goals, presenting WeShip Express value proposition to prospects in shipping/e-commerce, sourcing leads, direct selling to customers, negotiating contracts, analyzing pricing and margins, using CRM to manage customer data, ensuring flawless handoffs to Account Management, and collaborating with finance to ensure accurate invoicing. Requires experience in shipping/logistics, DTC/shipping solutions for wine/alcohol e-commerce, strong communication, stakeholder management, and ability to travel to multiple client sites as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales or related field or equivalent
- Five or more years of direct sales experience
- Experience in shipping and logistics industry with UPS or Fedex experience required
- Experience selling fulfillment and DTC shipping solutions to wine and alcohol e-commerce sellers required
- Must be a self-starter and proactive; hunter mentality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
