Job Summary
Senior Concrete Sales Representative to lead sales efforts in a designated territory, focusing on high-value clients, strategic account growth, and mentoring junior sales staff. Responsibilities include account management, pursuing new business opportunities, leading contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and delivering customer presentations for complex projects. Coordinate with operations, dispatch, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure successful delivery and performance. Provide technical guidance to clients regarding mix designs, specs, site logistics, and best practices. Track and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy. Mentor and support junior sales representatives, assisting with deal structuring and customer relationship management. Collaborate with leadership on forecasting, budgeting, and territory planning.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales experience in concrete, construction materials, or related industries
- Strong knowledge of concrete products, specifications, and application methods
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage long sales cycles and close high-value deals
- Familiarity with construction project timelines, bid processes, and job site operations
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory
