Job Summary
Senior Sales Manager responsible for developing business from the markets within assigned territories, meeting and/or exceeding individual sales goals through maximizing sales efforts, developing potential markets, and thorough administration of responsibilities. Schedule appointments for sales calls with key accounts and prospective clients; call on companies to solicit new business; meet/exceed quarterly sales goals; secure and book meetings and conferences; dedicate majority of time to direct sales via email, phone, LinkedIn, Delphi; foster relationships with new and existing clients; penetrate existing accounts for new contacts; maintain Delphi CRM; respond promptly to correspondence; conduct site inspections and property tours; attend trade shows and association meetings; perform general office duties; build rapport with planners; coordinate with resort departments; contribute as a team to respond to RFPs; stay informed on industry trends; assist with 90 Day Forecasts and lead distributions; drive guest satisfaction and revenue; lead and communicate effectively; manage time and resources; motivate and lead teams; emphasize problem solving and critical thinking.
Required Qualifications
- Two or more years of college or a minimum of three to five year’s related industry experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience
- Sales and marketing, front office and/or catering and conference services experience a plus
- Must provide valid document(s) to work in the US
- Valid California Driver License is required
