Job Summary
Senior Sales Manager at Stonebridge responsible for increasing hotel revenue by generating new business through personal sales calls, networking, and relationship-building with third-party planners, corporate accounts, and other markets. Responsible for implementing sales strategies and marketing initiatives to drive growth while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring repeat business. Core duties include conducting personal sales calls, identifying potential markets, creating and executing innovative sales and marketing techniques to increase revenue, distributing in-house advertising campaigns, maintaining competitive analyses, managing accounts and reports, fostering relationships with in-house meeting planners and local civic groups, and preparing sales call and internal reports. Requires 2+ years in sales (hospitality or convention center operations preferred), strong client-relations skills, CRM proficiency, excellent communication, and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Locations primarily Atlanta, GA with on-site duties; travel for client meetings and events as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Over 2 years of experience in sales, preferably with background in hospitality or convention center operations
- Strong knowledge of sales principles, market development, and revenue management
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Experience in developing and executing sales and marketing techniques to meet revenue goals
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members, both verbally and in writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems for managing accounts and generating reports
- Ability to organize tasks efficiently and manage time to meet sales targets and deadlines
