Job Summary
Senior Sales Manager - Proposals for GE Vernova Hydro in India and Asia. Lead sales, commercial and service activities with full P&L responsibility for the India Service business, drive market development, develop capture plans, lead end-to-end ITO processes, manage bid strategies, contract negotiations, and customer interfaces, and oversee service portfolio delivery with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Build and manage a strong services pipeline, lead a cross-functional team of Hydro Service Managers, and travel across Asia for engagement with customers and sites.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience of 12-15 years in complex sales and large-scale proposal development, ideally in major project environments
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; MBA a strong asset
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and spoken); ability to negotiate with senior-level stakeholders
- Willingness to travel across Asia for site visits, customer meetings, and conferences
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in an international, matrix organization
- Strong technical and commercial expertise in hydropower or a comparable project-based industrial sector
