Job Summary
Senior Sales Manager responsible for proactively soliciting and managing large group/catering opportunities with significant revenue potential, upselling packages to maximize revenue, and driving loyalty through outstanding service. Develops group/catering sales plans, partners with group/catering counterpart, closes opportunities based on market needs, and collaborates with off-property sales channels. Delivers exceptional customer service to grow the account, builds and maintains relationships with customers and community, conducts site inspections, creates contracts, writes proposals, and ensures proper turnover for service delivery. Focuses on achieving personal and property revenue goals and executing brand standards across sales and service activities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in the sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
- OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required.
