Job Summary
Senior Sales Manager at Marriott International responsible for proactively soliciting and managing group and catering opportunities with significant revenue potential. Drives upsell of packages to maximize revenue, achieves personal and property revenue goals, and ensures proper service delivery upon turnover. Builds and sustains relationships with existing and new customers to grow group/catering bookings, collaborates with group/catering counterparts, conducts site inspections, creates contracts, and prepares proposals, all while delivering exceptional customer service and aligning with the brand’s standards to drive loyalty and revenue.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in the sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required.
