Job Summary
Senior Group Sales Manager drives revenue by soliciting new and existing accounts through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site visits, and written communication; manages accounts with DELPHI+ CRM; travels to strategic trade shows and events; partners with team to develop and execute sales plans, negotiate contracts, upsell packages, and coordinate bookings; builds relationships with customers and stakeholders; supports contract creation and execution, and ensures alignment with brand standards and sales objectives.
Required Qualifications
- proven track record in sales within the luxury hospitality industry (Midwest and/or Southeast market experience)
- in-person attendance at least 3 days a week
- 5 days a week onsite role based in Newport Beach, CA
- Hotel operations background
- Ability to travel and work independently
- Capable of planning and executing sales trips (local, domestic, international)
- Professional appearance & demeanor
- Strong client/guest service skills
- Knowledge of Delphi, Opera and Microsoft Office software
- Familiar with travel throughout key US cities
- Knowledge of (high-end) industry publications, general marketing and public relations skills
