Job Summary
Drive revenue and expand the client base through exceptional customer service, strategic sales planning, and relationship building. Negotiate contracts and interpret terms while maintaining a proactive, assertive approach to succeed in market segments. Collaborate with various departments throughout the resort to ensure the best possible experience for guests. Leverage knowledge of competitors, trends, and supply and demand to optimize sales strategies. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years sales experience
- 2 year minimum hotel sales experience
- Strong understanding of negotiation and interpretation of contracts
- Present a professional and confident appearance
- Proactive sales approach, assertive and fast paced, driven to succeed
- Ability to communicate effectively with public and other Team Members
- Understanding/knowledge of computers and Microsoft office
- Strong time management skills
- Understanding of respective market segment, competitors strengths, weaknesses, trends, supply and demand
- Pre-employment drug test
- Background check
Desired Qualifications
- 2 year minimum hotel sales experience preferred
