Job Summary

Network and partner with customers via phone and in person to build confidence and develop win/win solutions within a territory of 800+ small law firm accounts. Proactively identify new sales opportunities by conducting thorough needs analyses and allocating time to prioritize goals, renewals, and market intelligence. Use appropriate interpersonal styles to build trust with stakeholders while effectively managing customer-related issues, collections, and complaints. Attain monthly sales and renewal targets through direct visits and meetings, utilizing Thomson Reuters products to demonstrate value. Complete weekly performance reports and Salesforce.com data accurately. This field-based role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to travel to client locations as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years successful sales experience (both over the phone and field sales)
  • Legal industry
  • 4 year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Software as a Service (SaaS) Sales Experience
  • Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods and techniques
  • Ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivation
  • Excellent communication skills and closing skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to remain realistically positive in sales situations
  • Able to work from home office and travel to customer locations as needed
  • High level of competency with regard to internet, periodical and internal prospecting
  • Proficient database management skills
  • Ability to apply strong business acumen
  • Ability to develop trust, demonstrate your credibility with all account stakeholders through your knowledge of Thomson Reuters' products, as well as the legal industry
