Job Summary
Senior Sales Executive to drive revenue growth across biotech, pharmaceutical, and academic research clients in the New England region by selling digital pathology and histology laboratory services. Responsibilities include building territory revenue through targeted prospecting, cold outreach, email and in-person meetings; developing new business across biotech, pharma, and academic accounts; meeting with key stakeholders to present services, negotiate agreements, and close deals; maintaining a strong pipeline and achieving quarterly and annual territory goals; upselling additional services to existing accounts; managing client relationships with researchers, PIs, and lab decision-makers; representing the company at trade shows and industry events; identifying opportunities in biomedical research and pathology services; analyzing sales performance and collaborating with marketing on promotional activity; cross-functional collaboration with marketing, operations, and lab teams; and supporting SOW negotiations. Required knowledge includes histology workflows and pathology consultations; experience with high-volume prospecting and lead generation; willingness to travel within the territory. The role offers a base salary of $100,000 to $125,000 plus performance-driven bonuses. The position is remote, field-based, covering Boston and the broader New England territory.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years of life sciences sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or marketing
- Proven field-based sales track record with regular travel to customer locations
- Strong understanding of specimen collection, histology processing, and pathology workflows
- Ability to run high-volume prospecting and lead generation through outreach and in-person meetings
- Willingness to travel within the territory and support other regions as needed
