Job Summary
Lead complex pre-sales engagements by partnering with Sales Executives and clinician-led architects to shape technical solution strategies for payer and provider markets. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for enterprise stakeholders, translating customer requirements into scalable designs that align with integration architectures, security protocols, and deployment models. Architect solutions involving Smart on FHIR, RESTful APIs, and healthcare data exchange while validating feasibility with Product, Engineering, and Security teams. Drive technical due diligence, including security reviews and RFP responses, to mitigate risks and protect deal velocity. Communicate technical trade-offs and capabilities to both technical and non-technical audiences, assisting in defining post-sale implementation approaches.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, Nursing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 5 years of experience discussing complex technical integrations, architecture, AI-enabled solutions, and workflow integration to large healthcare customers
- Experience responding to detailed security, privacy, and compliance questions from enterprise customers
- Strong understanding of modern software development concepts, API-driven integrations, service-based architectures, and embedded application workflows
- Demonstrated experience with healthcare interoperability standards, including FHIR and HL7, and supporting Smart on FHIR–based integrations
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong presentation skills and exceptional client-facing communication abilities
- Travel up to 25% to client sites and MCG-sponsored events
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., cloud, security, interoperability, or integration technologies)
- Consultative, customer-focused mindset with the ability to build trust and credibility with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working through ambiguity in complex technical environments
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in documenting technical requirements and risks
