Job Summary
Senior Sales Engineer, Public Sector, Western Canada (remote Canada) — partner with Enterprise sales to translate complex technical solutions into business outcomes. Responsibilities include delivering high-impact technical product presentations and demonstrations, designing solutions with stakeholder requirements, leading product evaluations (POVs) and configurations, and creating comprehensive evaluation test plans to guide the sales process. Must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, 7+ years of Sales Engineer/Network Systems Integrator experience, and strong cybersecurity and networking skills (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPNs, firewalls). Certifications such as CCNA/Network+/CCNP/CCIE/Security+ and TS/SCI clearance are advantageous. The role emphasizes execution, ownership, collaboration, urgency, and the ability to operate remotely within Western Canada, with occasional travel to customer sites and internal events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in a consultative technical role
- 7+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Network Systems Integrator
- Strong Technical Foundation: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPNs, and firewalls
