Job Summary
Senior Sales Engineer to present the Zscaler cloud security platform, translate customer goals into high-impact recommendations, and guide transformational journeys as a trusted advisor. Responsibilities include gathering technical requirements, promoting value propositions through POVs, presentations, and demos, and partnering with Account Executives and cross-functional teams (Architects, Business Value teams) to shape account strategy. Ideal candidate combines AI/ML familiarity in security, deep enterprise network/cloud security knowledge, and a track record of value-based selling in the Portuguese market. This remote role covers Portugal from Madrid, Spain, and requires fluency in Portuguese and English.
Required Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Systems Integrator
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions
- Deep knowledge of enterprise network or cloud security technologies
- Experience working with Value Selling Methodologies to identify, qualify, and scope opportunities, build account and territory plans, and deliver proof of concept engagements to convert opportunities into technical victories
- Proven track record of working across the Portuguese market paired with fluency in Portuguese
- Professional fluency in English
