Job Summary
Collaborate with the Sales team to win deals and drive sales to completion in the North America market by acting as a trusted advisor who instills confidence in prospects. Serve as the subject matter expert for the Mastercard Identity suite, leveraging technical skills to explain underlying technologies, data processing, and machine learning models to customers. Conduct discovery sessions to qualify customer needs, set up proof of value tests, and provide training to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. Liaise with the Product team to share customer feedback and contribute insights for the product roadmap while attending conferences and presenting at webinars. Create documentation for prospects and internal use, including best practices and competitive landscape analysis. Travel up to 25% to support customer engagements and market representation.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sales Engineer
- Experience in leading discovery to qualify customer needs and determine viable solutions of value
- Posses a solid understanding of data science concepts and machine learning models
- Posses a solid understanding of API-delivered services and web architecture
- Experience with Python programming and SQL
- Are fluent in English
- Travel requirements are limited but could be up to 25%
Desired Qualifications
- Background in fraud and the payments industry is preferred
