Job Summary
As a Senior Sales Engineer for Treatment Aquatics, you will drive business development and sales growth for aquatics water treatment solutions in Spain and Portugal, focusing on public swimming pools and municipalities. Key responsibilities include identifying and acquiring customers, developing relationships with consulting engineers and pool operators, promoting Xylem solutions, monitoring market developments, and representing Xylem at industry events. A strong background in engineering or technical disciplines and experience in sales within the water treatment industry are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Environmental Technology, Water Technology, or a related technical discipline
- Experience in technical sales, application engineering, or business development
- Strong understanding of water treatment technologies, pumps, or aquatics systems
- Experience working with municipal customers or public infrastructure projects
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to develop new markets and customers
- Experience using CRM systems for sales management
- Fluent Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Willingness to travel 50% or more within Spain and Portugal
