Senior Sales Engineer - LNG

Job Summary
Senior Sales Engineer to lead activities for key LNG accounts, promoting and booking Ebara Elliott Energy New Apparatus product lines. Responsibility includes pursuing opportunities, negotiating and closing orders, and exceeding sales quotas within budgeted expenses while adhering to company guidelines. Travel about 25% (outside of Houston) with on-site visits to EEE HQ in Jeannette, PA and industry conferences; develop new customers, prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and provide mentorship to new sales engineers. Requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (MBA advantageous) and extensive LNG sales/marketing experience, with strong communication, interpersonal, and strategic-translation skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- MBA or advanced business qualification is an advantage
- Extensive background within the LNG industry, specifically in Marketing or Sales
- Proven track record in the sales, application, and/or operation of custom engineered products
- Direct experience transacting business with key LNG end users and engineering contractors
- Experience in field sales, service representation, or market applications for similar products
- Technical Proficiency: Mechanical equipment design, operation, and maintenance
- Commercial Expertise: understanding of industrial processes
- Communication and interpersonal skills for customer engagement
- Strategic translation of technical knowledge into proposals and sales strategies
- Self-management and ability to manage sales territory
- Business literacy including financial principles and relevant software
