Job Summary
Senior Sales Engineer sought to lead sales and business development for AI risk management solutions in the online lending/FinTech space. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding enterprise clients through AI governance, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation. Responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies, educating clients on best practices in AI governance and ethics, driving new business to online lenders and related organizations, leveraging relationships with C-level executives to identify and close opportunities, collaborating with product/marketing/technical teams, delivering presentations and product demonstrations, staying current on industry trends and regulatory changes, and maintaining CRM-recorded pipeline and forecasting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in sales roles within the online, lending, or financial technology industries
- Proven success in selling risk management products and solutions, with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Extensive network and established relationships with key decision makers (including executives and senior management) at major lending and online financial organizations
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed targets
- Collaborate with team members to improve sales strategies and customer satisfaction
- Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and manage multiple stakeholders
- Strong understanding of online lending processes, risk management needs, and industry best practices
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events
