Job Summary
Senior Sales Engineer at EnergyHub to bridge Technical, Product, and Go-to-Market efforts. You will act as a product expert for utility clients, conduct discovery to map business requirements to technical solutions, collaborate with Product to deliver ROI-driven proposals, and drive the adoption of EnergyHub’s DER and VPP solutions. You’ll design solutions involving DER management, EV charging, smart thermostats, batteries and other connected devices, and support cross-functional teams to inform roadmaps. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience, comfort with SQL/Python and APIs, ability to travel ~10%, and the ability to communicate across clients and internal teams. Sponsorship for employment authorization is not available. The position sits in Utah, USA with in-person responsibilities; compensation includes a base salary range of $110,000-$140,000 plus potential OTE.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5-7 years of experience in technical, enterprise software sales, product management, or related fields
- Experience with SQL or Python
- Experience with platform integrations, APIs, data transfers
- Ability for periodic travel (~10%) for client visits, prospect demos, industry conferences
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Experience with enterprise-level process management tools
