Job Summary
Senior sales engineer in Belgium joining Alan’s pre-sales team to support enterprise and public-sector sales. Responsibilities include mastering our platform, enabling Sales with insights and tools, understanding customer needs to map Alan’s capabilities to requirements, contributing to RFP responses, guiding the customer journey from prospect to onboarded client, coordinating complex onboarding, and collaborating with teams in France to build a global playbook. The role emphasizes coordinating pre-sales strategy on the most complex deals, driving operational excellence and strategic vision within a growing team, and supporting a remote-friendly, Belgium-based setup with potential hybrid/work arrangements across Belgium.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in a SaaS environment
- Fluent written and verbal English
- Fluent written and verbal Dutch OR French
- Based in Belgium
- Experience in end-to-end procurement projects with involvement in RFIs, RFQs and RFPs
- Ability to pitch a product with transparency and without overselling
- Ability to diagnose customer concerns through active listening and requirements elicitation
- Assertive and able to handle objections in a complex environment
- Ability to break down complex issues and identify product gaps to define best solutions
- Strong stakeholder management across high-level groups
- Strong teamwork and willingness to learn and grow
- Experience in insurance or health platforms (nice to have)
- Experience in HRIS / Payroll solutions (nice to have)
